Essential Criteria
Applicants must:
  • Be a qualified teacher recognised by the Department of Education and registered with GTCNI by date of application.
  • At least three years in the last five teaching experience in Key Stage 2 (with two academic years being in Primary 6) in a paid capacity by date of close of applications.
  • Experience of preparing classes for external entrance tests within the last 5 years.
  • Experience of leading, monitoring and embedding ICT in a primary school.
  • Experience of managing a school-based network (for example, but not limited to, C2k)
Desirable Criteria
Applicants should have:
  • Experience of leading training using a range of devices in primary school
  • Experience of using Fronter to prepare and deliver teaching units
  • Experience of auditing, writing, monitoring and evaluating Action Plans
  • Awareness of the importance of eSafety in Safeguarding
