Banner Student 8.5.1 Upgrade – Needed for CAPP Fix – Nancy reported a need to apply fixes Banner 8.5.1. She is waiting on an answer from SunGard to see if the fix can be added separately from the full upgrade.

Change in default directory for Banner - Julie reported there is not a requirement for a default directory anymore.

Testing of new pc in Banner Lab – Julie asked if everyone had tested the new lab PC’s. All present responded affirmatively. The plan is to have them installed after the Dec 10 SAP training with Philip Davich.

Banner Student Upgrade 8.4 – Open Problems

Asterisk (*) does not appear in Self-Service Banner – WebTailor Issue – fix has been moved to PROD.

Transfer Credit Group Issue – Changed to defect at SunGard.

Active Assignment Link in Faculty Dashboard – Still being worked.

CAPP Issues (Rules, display of apostrophe, etc.) – Nancy report three or four issues still not working correctly

Grade Roll issue with SHADEGR – Not fixed in 8.5. Registrar is currently doing a work around until a fix comes from SunGard.

Banner Financial Aid Upgrades 8.8.1 & 8.9 – SunGard has not responded to contract changes. Version 8.9 is ready for testing in DEV2. Karen and Jim will add the additional four patches to DEV2.

ODS 8.2 Upgrade – Jim reported there appears to be no down time needed for Banner when 8.2 is moved to PROD. Change tables get moved to ODS now instead of Banner so changes are made in ODS. Changes updates will not be recorded in two places. Eventually, composite views will be gone from the OLTP model in Cognos.
