APPLICATION FOR FUNDS OR ASSISTANCE

COLUMBIA CENTER ROTARY CLUB

COMMUNITY SERVICE COMMITTEE

This committee’s focus is on seniors, those with special needs, and children and youth, especially programs benefiting these groups.

The committee considers funding requests up to $2,500 from non-profit groups for one-time projects or for "start-up" programs. The committee tends not to fund on-going operational needs (such as overhead; for example, salaries or rent) or fund raising efforts of one party that will benefit another, nor do we fund individual needs.

The committee also considersrequests to provide people for hands-on assistance, such as moving furniture and supplies, setting up/taking down displays, and other basic tasks. These projects could be regularly scheduled (i.e., monthly, quarterly) or one-time only. The projects could be for non-profit organizations or private individuals associated with non-profits. If your request is for hands-on assistance, the word “funding” below is replaced with “hands-on assistance”and you can ignore item #7.
