We will depart on Sunday, June 5th at 1:00pm from the Kroger parking lot in Snellville off of Five Forks Trickum and Oak Rd. We will return on Saturday, June 11th around 10:00pm to the same location. Your child will call and confirm a more exact time on Saturday.

What to pack?

Plenty of casual clothes for a week (tshirts, shorts, etc)

One outfit that can get extremely wet/dirty and might not return home

Light jacket/pair of jeans for cooler nights

Two pairs of closed toed shoes (one for high adventure activities; one pair will get dirty/wet)

Bathing suit, beach towel, sunscreen

Rain coat

One western outfit (some plaid or overalls)

One Christmas outfit (red & green or tacky sweater)

Toiletries

Spending money for camp store/gift shop

Snacks for the bus ride and cabin

--Sheets, pillows, and bath towels/wash clothes will be provided for us at the camp.--

** FYI: Your child’s cell phone will be collected when we arrive at camp. We feel like part of the joy of being away for the weekend (and the experience of camp) is being able to “unplug” and not have the distractions of texting and phone calls from friends at home. We will keep them all locked-up and labeled for the week. They will be returned to each student when we get on the bus to head home on Saturday. **

Also by Friday, June 3rd, please complete the Online Health Form at healthform.younglife.org

You must create an account to fill out the health form.

If there is an emergency and you need to reach your child, the phone number at SharpTop Cove is

Again, we are so glad that you are sending your student with us to SharpTop Cove, and we trust that your child will say that they had the best week of their life!

Sincerely,

Andy Miller
