Goal(s):
Finish development and approval process for viable web development AAT program to be delivered beginning 2013-14 /
- Review curriculum and offer feedback, approval and support.

Research, consider, and make recommendations on program offerings based on Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) certifications such as the MCTS (Microsoft Certified Technician Specialist) in .NET and SQL as well as the MCPD (Microsoft Certified Professional Developer) program in the .NET Platform that can be a part of a jointly offered MS Professional training program with Clark’s Networking Technologies (NTEC) program /
- Review market trend information and MS cert options as well as network with fellow professionals to give feedback on best options for Clark to consider
FACILITIES & EQUIPMENT
Goal(s):
Development of a server environment tailored for students to interact in that is equivalent to professional web development environment, particularly for SQL database and PHP-related activities. /
- Create a specifications document that has been developed and endorsed by the committee
- Participate in discussions with IT staff and Clark faculty to express the needs
- Advisory to serve as consultants and advisors in the architecture of the new server environment purchased by CTEC in 2012-13
Full completion for implementation in Fall 2013 / Ad Hoc committee of interested members
Identify and specify external hosting and domain registration options for students to have an external web presence they can develop over the course of their studies at Clark /
- Give feedback and make recommendations on various hosting options and best options for students

Goal(s):
Further development of student-industry contacts for guest speaker service-based learning projects as well as external internship or incubator-based learning experiences that will enable students to have experiences preparing them for careers in web development /
- Develop and maintain a resource list of possible intern opportunities and potential long-term partners where students can gain work skills experiences
Feedback of Web Development curriculum specifics including program outcomes and alignment to courses including those adopted or adapted from the Interact Web Standards Curriculum model /
- Recommendations and feedback by advisory and continued participation by advisory and advisory/adjuncts similar to those in Perkins workgroups of Summer 2012

MARKETING/PUBLIC RELATIONS
Goal(s):
Feedback for Clark Communications and Marketing to develop a marketing for the Web Development program using a model such as SIVA or 4Ps to identify target audiences and fulfill need for a new web/applications development program. /
