Class Supplies - Stage 3 2011

9/12/10

Dear Parents,

Below is a list of requirements each child will need for the start of next year. It is an ideal time to get children’s equipment during the holidays. Children shouldn’t however, bring their equipment into school until they are in their new class.

1 Pencil Case with only the following: (In order to allow for room on a child’s desk everyday items must be in a small pencil case, textas etc in another one to stay in bag.)

4 blue pens (biro only)

2 red pens “

1 HB Lead Pencil

1 30cm ruler with mm markings

1 packet of Coloured Pencils and/or Wind-up Crayons

1 pencil rubber

1 sharpener (that catches the savings)

1 glue stick (solid glue ie/ UHU)

1 pair of metal blade scissors

1 calculator

1 protractor and compass set

1 packet textas (optional)

1 Student Diary

1 A4 size Homework book (securely bound) 100 pages with margin

5 A4 size ruled 96 page exercise books with margin

1 A4 Maths 5mm grid exercise book 96 pages

3 cardboard tidy file folders

4 A4 plastic sleeve display books

1 box of tissues

1 roll of paper towel

1 softwash soap pump pack

Clear contact only for children’s exercise books

There may be additional items requested throughout the year as the need arises.

Please label all items to avoid loss, items can be labelled with a permanent black marker. Also please encourage your child to come equipped ready for each school day as borrowing from other children becomes quite disruptive in the classroom. Throughout the year equipment will need to be replenished.

It would be preferable if each of the children’s books could be covered in clear contact only (not tinted) as they will design a set cover for each book that will be easily recognisable. Exercise and text books will gradually be sent home to be covered in 2011. Please ensure that all books sent home for covering are returned each day in case the children need to use it.

Thank you for your co operation and we are looking forward to next year.
