PLAYER REGISTRATION GUIDANCE

2015 –2016 season

For the registration of players the following guidelines must be followed:

  1. Photograph’s and Images:

(please note that digital images must be of photographic quality and on photographic paper)

a)The photograph/image must be passport size, and in passport format of head and shoulders only, no head gear and no hair across the face

b)Please attach the photographs/images to the card using an adhesive glue NOT sellotape or staples, all photographs must be trimmed to the size indicated

c)Please ensure that the image is current at time of registration.

  1. The following Signature MUST be on the card, and in the CORRECT place:

a)Player

  1. The following Signatures MUST be on the Registration Form, and in the CORRECT place:

a)Club Chairman orClub Secretary

  1. Identification, where player is Under 18 at the time of registration:

a)Acceptable documents : Photo Driving Licence, Passport, National ID Card

b)Only a photocopy is required, the League will not accept responsibility for originals

c)Required for all initial registrations, the League may request a replacement if necessary

d)Please attach the relevant identification to the correct registration card

  1. Postage:

a)Registration cards should be accompanied by anSAE. with adequate postage attached.

b)Clubs need to ensure that the envelope provided is of a substantial manufacture.

c)Additional postage will be recharged to the Club with an administration charge

d)Where there is no postage, cards will be returned at the following League meeting.

e)Please take into consideration when adding the postage to the envelope, that the cards will be laminated when returned so may weigh slightly heavier.

  1. Registration Date:

a)Managers must have in their possession a processed player registration card, before the player takes part in any League, Cup or Shield fixture

b)The last permissible date for registration of players is the last day of February in the current season

c)Whilst every effort is made to process each card within 24 hours of receipt, please allow 7 days for the registration process to be completed. No card = no play.

  1. Team Registration List:

Available in the Downloads section of the website. Send one with each submission of registration cards.

Cards arriving without a Team Registration List will be returned unregistered.

  1. Nationality:

In submitting a Registration Card, a Club is confirming that the player is eligible under FA and FIFA guidance. Simple rule of thumb = ENGLISH Birth Certificate ~ automatically eligible, a Birth Certificate issued elsewhere ~ ASK.

This includes certificates issued in Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland.

Please help us to help you, by making sure all details are correct, and the relevant forms and certificates are attached before you send them.

IT IS THE RESPONSIBILITY OF CLUBS TO ENSURE THAT THE CARD IS CORRECTLY COMPLETED IN ALL DETAILS

ANY INCOMPLETE ORINCORRECT CARDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED

AND FINALLY

PLAYERS MUST REGISTER USING THE NAME THAT APPEARS ON THEIR BIRTH CERTIFICATE, OR ON ANY CHANGE OF NAME DOCUMENT ISSUED BY THE COURTS

(even though they may be commonly known by an abbreviation or nickname)

NB:

Cards will be processed once the League Secretary has confirmed that your Club has paid all fees for the season 2015 ~ 2016
