Important Notes

Setup Times

Please be on the Market Place between 7.30am and 9.00am to set up your stall. You must provide your own stalls. Vans and towing vehicles can not be accommodated on the Market Place due to the anticipated number of traders attending.

Electricity

Please make sure that all electrical goods/leads are PAT tested and you have the visual sticker/certificate to prove this. You cannot use our supplies without this. (See ‘Specialist Markets – Electrical Equipment Connections to Council Supplies’ sheet for further information).

Public Liability Insurance Certificate

Please provide evidence that you have current Third Party Public Liability Insurance. A photocopy will suffice. Please do not embarrass yourselves or any member of Derby LIVE by them having to ask you to leave. We would also suggest that you have your own risk assessments. Thank You.

Payment

Please make all cheques payable to ‘Derby City Council’ at least one week before the Market is held. The cost of the licence is non-refundable.

Alternatively payment can be made on the day of arrival. A member of Derby LIVE will provide a receipt upon payment either by cash or cheque.
