Have you listed all your educational costs under both Expenses and Payments?
If there is a difference between your expenses and payments, only the lower of the two will be reimbursed.
Payment information shall include date of payment.

Have you clarified whether your expenses/payments apply to the whole school year or only a part of the school year?

Has the school signed and sealed the P41 or the online form?

Is the school signature dated10 days or less before the end of the school year? Forms should not be signed by the school more than 10 days before the school year ends as proration otherwise may apply.
8 / Deadline / Claim
Is yourEG Claim application submitted within one year following the end date of the school year? If not, it becomes time-barred and your EG Claim application cannot be processed.
Advance
Have you applied prior to or within the first four months of the school year? After 4 months we cannot process your advance.
9 / If first Advance or new school … / Have you provided a letter from the school itemizing the costs and enrollment for the school year?
