37 hours week – term time plus 5 days to be worked in the holidays

Salary: NJC Scale 2, Point 11 - 13 pro-rata’d to £12,766 to £13,375 pa

Homewood School requires a confident, adaptable person to provide technical support for the Art & Design & Technology Departments.

The position involves a range of activities such as the preparation and maintenance of tools and equipment, woodwork, clay maintenance, kiln work, ordering stock and creating displays within the department. You should be a creative thinker, work well under pressure and enjoy working around students of all ages.

The successful candidate will work within the Art Department to support the needs of the six areas: Product Design, Fine Art, Photography, Ceramics, Textiles and Graphics. There will be a responsibility for ensuring that the department complies with all Health & Safety regulations including workshop dress code and safety procedures, including the disposal of waste materials.
