In the summer of 2014, students will spend the week getting hands on experience both “on location” around the high school campus and in the studio and editing labs as they conceive and produce new films. Each student will have the opportunity to be director, cinematographer, screenplay writer, editor, sound engineer, audio mixer, producer and crew of a film.

Students at the end of the week will produce short films that will require all of their new skills and collaboration as filmmakers.

These films will all be shown at a mini film festival in the high school auditorium on the final afternoon so all students, their friends and family can see their hard work on the “big screen.” Awards will also be given out to students whose films and crews exemplify the best in filmmaking.
