What We Expect From You
*Come to class with a positive attitude every day.
*Be in the room, with your supplies, ready to begin class, when the tardy bell rings.
*Show respect for others and the classroom.
*Inspect the Chromebook at your assigned seat/number at the beginning of class.
*Report any issues with Chromebook.
*Check out a calculator using your ID. Return the calculator and pick up your ID.
*All electronic devices to be turned off.
*Complete the pretest on or before the fifth school day once assigned a course.
*Write notes and examples pertaining to the Compass course assigned when watching the video lesson.
*Return item(s) used during class to its owner.

Grades
Pre-test: The pretest will determine how many folders/topics have to be completed.
Lesson quizzes: A lesson quiz may be repeated only after the instructor sends you the lesson
electronically or it may be given as a hard copy (do not write on the hard copy).
Activity quizzes: An activity quiz can be redone twice and the Compass program will record the better
of the two scores. After two tries the instructor will need to assist the student.
Post-test: You will be assigned the post-test only after the grade for all course work is at least
a 75. This test is similar to a semester exam. You are not allowed to retest.
Class Rules
I.D.’s are to be worn unless you are using a calculator.
KNOW the NO’s.
NO cell phones, You Tube, streaming music, etc. without the specific permission from the teacher.
Remain awake.
Backpacks, purses, and other bags on the floor next to you.
Sit at your assigned seat number with the same Chromebook number.
Class time is only to be used for working on the Chromebooks and your Credit Recovery course work.
You may be place on a behavior contract or assigned mandatory tutorials.
