TOP AMERICAN MASTERS TO COMPETE AT WORLD MASTERS INDOOR CHAMPIONSHIPS, APRIL 3-8, Jyväskylä, FINLAND

Top U.S. Masters will be competing at the World Masters association (WMA) Indoor Track Championships April 3-8 in Jyväskylä, Finland.

Three outstanding ladies to look for at World’s:

Phil Raschker entering the new age group of 65, Jeannie Daprano turning 75

and Kathy Martin who just turned 60.

Raschker smashed the W65 Heptathlon record by scoring almost 2000 points more than the previous mark of 4446 points, also set new records at the USA Masters Track & Field Indoor Championships March 16-18 in Bloomington, Ind. In the Pent., LJ, and TJ.; Daprano set new records at Nationals in the 400, 800m and the mile (first woman in the world 75+ to break 8 minutes in the mile with 7:13.51). Martin has recently set new ARs in the W60 5k, 10K, 20K, half marathon, marathon and 50K. Raschker will be competing in the 60m, 60mH, 200m, 400m, HJ, LJ, PV, TJ and Pentathlon: Jeannie will run all of the distances from 60 to 1500m. Martin plans to run the 800m, mile, and 3000m, plus she will run x country and the ½ marathon.
