Bhasma is considered as most effective and important preparation in Rasashastra. Abhraka bhasma has a significant place in Ayurveda as it is used extensively and successfully in many diseases. Abhraka bhasma is vrishya, rasayana and used in jwara, premaha, swasa and kasa.
After the preparation of Abhraka Bhasma a specific process is carriedout to remove the remaining blemishes, which is called as Amrutheekarana.
