20TH ANNUAL MIDWEST CLASSIC BASEBALL TOURNAMENT 2017
MARCH 27 - APRIL 1
GENERAL INFORMATION:
1. Each team will play 5 games, with 4 pools during the week. You will play 2 teams in your pool and we will be using multiple sites. Friday and Saturday we will have a championship bracket and a consolation bracket.At this time we are 2 teams short with 14 teams am still looking for another team but we will make something happen.
2. There will be 5 tie breakers: 1) Record in pool play, 2) Head to head competition, 3) Runs allowed in pool play, 4) Runs scored for, 5) Coin toss.
3. The entry fee will be prorated upon completion of the tournament.
4. Make checks payable to: Francis Howell High School

6. Each team will supply 2 baseballs for each contest.
7. Home team will be established by a flip of the coin for all games.
8. The winning team will be responsible for calling the scores into sports stats. If the winning teams are not from St. Louis, have the teams that are from St. Louis call them in, regardless if they won or not. Site managers will have to call in scores if both teams are not from St. Louis.
9. Umpires will be assigned by the Greater St. Louis Umpires Association - Bill Buchanan, 355-5878.
10. A barbecue will be set up at FH, C&H, FZW, FHN, and FHC, on both days where you may purchase food. Please support our host sites.
11. Tournament T-shirts will be on sale for $10. Coaches will get one free. Come to Francis Howell for the T shirts.
12. We will select an all tournament team and Most Valuable Offensive and Most Valuable Defensive player. Each honoree will receive an award directly following the championship game at C&H. Any all tournament players would be encouraged to stick around so that a picture could be taken directly after the championship.
13. Team trophies will be given out to 1st-4th place finishers at championship pool site on Saturday.
