Members Questions & Comments
A parent raised his concerns about the kids “NOT GETTING WATER BREAKS @ Thursday PRACTICES”.
7:32 pm Mrs. Monson spoke @ the guidelines that they follow per the Rutherford County School Board for the recommended water breaks based on outside temps & duration of practice. She enforced that kids are WELCOME TO take water breaks as needed!
Several other parents in attendance spoke up about this topic, agreeing with the directors decision to NOT take “formal water breaks” on Thursday practices. Too chaotic and hard to get EVERYONE back on task once allowed to leave formation to ALL get water at the same time….. the kids best interest is ALWAYS in the directors mind and there are several parents that are at those practices to hand out snacks to the students as they head out to the practice lot, refill camel paks, take notice of students that aren’t handling the heat well.
7:42pm ~ JB back up to remind parents to double check that students have ALL of their uniform items (socks, gloves, shoes) and that they MUST WEAR the tropical wear TO THE GAME to put their uniform over!!
7:47pm ~ Jason Boyer – Motion to Adjourn & Phyllis was the 2nd to motion.
CHECK OUT THE WEBPAGE!!
Next Booster Meeting: Tuesday, October 10, 7pm
