The San Joaquin County Office of Education (SJCOE) will conduct a silent auction for one school bus. Refer to the Vehicle Description page for specific information on thebus. The buswill have a reserve price set by SJCOE. Bids will be accepted in sealed envelopes,marked on the outside with "Surplus Vehicle Bid". Bids can be dropped off in the Operations Office at2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton, CA,beginning at 8 a.m. on Wednesday August 16thand until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 31st. Bids will be opened on August 31st, 2017 at 2:15 p.m.

All bids must be accompanied by a $200 depositin the form of a business, personal or cashier’s check made out to the San Joaquin County Office of Education. If you are the high bidder, your $200 deposit will be credited to your bid and you will be required to pay the remainder by certified check or money order within 48 hours of being notified that you are the high bidder.

If you are not the high bidder, your deposit check will be promptly returned to you.

If you are the high bidder and fail to provide a money order or certified check before the deadline, the $200 bid deposit will be forfeited and the vehicle will be sold to the second highest bidder.

In the case of a tie high bid, each tied bidder will be provided one opportunity to submit another bid. If the bid is still tied, a coin toss will determine the high bidder.

Please call the Operations Department at 209-468-9061 to schedule a viewing appointment. Due to insurance restrictions the vehicles may NOT be test driven.

The bus isavailable for inspection beginning8:00 a.m. on Wednesday August 16ththrough 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 30th, at 2707 Transworld Drive, Stockton CA, directly behind the Wentworth Education Center.
