Sharon Johnson-Hakim / Presented new NJHC Video, which encapsulates what the collaborative is all about. Interviews with NJHC partners about the value of participation.
Catherine walked through the Collaborative website and pointed out new leadership, executive committee members, resources.
Data and Communication committees are looking for new members.
Recruiting for funding partners is continuing.
Brainstorming took place regarding what type of Professional Development would you like to see for the participants?
Trainings and professional development being consider for in-person within county and/or across the NJHC, via webinars, posted on the website. / Attendees ideas/suggestions: [possible trainer/presenter]
Sharing best practices that come out of the workgroups.
Drug trend updates, most prevalent drugs in the area, and recovery supports that are available. [Center for Prevention & Counseling]

Tracking of workgroup strategies and evaluation of those strategies.
Each workgroup will report to the group at each meeting.
Spotlight: Access to Care Workgroup
Surveying low income, uninsured and underinsured persons to identify barriers and challenges in accessing care. A face to face survey (scripted) has been developed and being conducted at community events. Collecting demographic data. Question posed about why being done face to face. Find that allows surveyor to collect more accurate responses, nuances, and engage in deeper conversation.
