THE WEST CITY COUNCIL WILL MEET ON TUESDAY, JUNE 7, 2016, AT 5:30 PM FOR A PUBLIC HEARING AT THE WEST COMMUNITY CENTER LOCATED AT 205 W. TOKIO RD. THE PURPOSE OF THE PUBLIC HEARING WILL BE A POSSIBLE TRADE OF 30’X50’ OF FRONTAGE (302 E. COLUMBUS) TO THE CITY OF WEST FOR AN EQUAL AMOUNT OF THE ABANDONED ORIGINAL E. COLUMBUS STREET.

WORKSHOP TO IMMEDIATELY FOLLOW THE PUBLIC HEARING TO DISCUSS ITEMS ON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA.

THE REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING WILL BEGIN AT 6:00 PM TO CONSIDER AND ACT ON THE ITEMS ON THE FOLLOWING AGENDA.

19.  Discussion, consideration, action, if any, re: Resolution awarding a contract to H&B Contractors, Inc., lowest responsible bidder, for the Holt/Garland/Davis/Harrison Street improvements project, in an amount not to exceed $1,001,910.85 as recommended by the city engineer, Walker Partners, LLC, and authorizing the Mayor to execute all documents necessary to complete this transaction.

28.  Executive Session: Under the provisions of Government Code 551, the Council will meet in Executive Session to discuss:

1.)  Executive Session: A closed meeting will be held pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Government Code (V.C.T.A.) to address probationary period of Chief Barton.

2.)  Executive Session: A closed meeting will be held pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Government Code (V.C.T.A.) to address resignation of Assistant City Secretary.

3.)  Executive Session: A closed meeting will be held pursuant to Section 551.071 of the Government Code (V.C.T.A.) included, but limited to, update from outside legal counsel regarding lawsuit.
