An Experienced Team that Knows How to Serve up Savings While Helping Companies Manage Their Telecom Expenses
Peter Callowhill provides strategic direction for the company and oversees partner relationships. Peter has more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
Prior to leading NetGain and iTEMize, he co-founded Net2000 Communications, a facilities-based competitive local exchange carrier (CLEC), and held varying management roles over a period of eight years. He played a leading role in the successful creation and execution of the firm’s business strategy, driving revenues to more than $110 million.
Over his distinguished career, Peter has also established other Washington, D.C. area firms including N2N Communications, a regional Internet Service Provider (ISP), and InterPeer, a Web Hosting service. Peter served as President for both companies which are now part of Verio, an NTT Communications Company and national Tier 1 ISP. Additionally, Mr. Callowhill co-founded Fastraktion, LLC, a venture capital firm focused on providing seed capital to start-up telecommunications firms in the Washington, D.C. area.
James Larsen has responsibility for managing business operations, software development, information technology, and finance. James is also the chief architect of the company’s TEM application; iTEMize. James has spent his entire 18-year career providing telecommunications and application development solutions for businesses. Before co-founding NetGain Communications and iTEMize Technologies, he spent two years with Net2000 Communications, last serving as the General Manager of Wholesale and Carrier Services.
Prior to NET2000, James spent five years at American Management Systems (AMS), an international business and technology consulting firm headquartered in Fairfax, VA. James served in a number of roles leading software development teams and supporting application development for state and local governments as well as the telecommunications industry.
James understands software from the ground up, a skill he gained as a Senior Software Trainer at Software AG, an international software development firm. In this role, he trained clients around the world on techniques for developing software applications using the firm's proprietary programming language and database tools. James has also served in various IT and sales positions at Sprint International and Intermedia Communications.
Steve Murphy is intimately familiar with the communications services business. He has been consulting with clients for over 40 years on solutions such as voice over IP (VOIP), MPLS networks, ethernet access and conferencing solutions.
Previously, Steve served as Director of Marketing for Net2000. In that capacity, he developed 8 different products. He also managed several channel initiatives, focusing on the agent and carrier segments.
Prior to joining Net2000, Mr. Murphy spent 4 years at MCI Communications working in some of MCI’s most challenging areas. Steve received MCI’s Circle of Excellence award 3 times during his 4-year tenure.
Steve also has intensive financial and consulting experience. He spent was an auditor and consultant for Arthur Andersen & Co., servicing more than 40 clients.
Steve earned an MBA in Marketing and Finance from IndianaUniversity in BloomingtonIndiana. His Bachelor degree is in Accounting, conferred by GeorgetownUniversity in Washington, DC.
Kara Sordi-Semon has been helping clients manage their telecommunications services for over ten years. Kara is responsible for managing ongoing client relationships and leads the iTEMize managed services group overseeing all projects and handling client service issues within NetGain and iTEMize Technologies.
Prior to joining iTEMize Technologies, Kara was the Director of Client and Technical Services with ARG where she served in a similar role managing a team responsible for over 1,200 clients nationwide.
Kara held a variety of management positions at Net2000 Communications, including Manager, Customer Relations and Call Center Director.
Kara has an extensive background working with national and regional carriers, including Verizon, MCI, AT&T, US LEC, Paetec, and UCN.
Kara earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Communications and French from the University of Dayton.
Mr. Schonholz currently leads the channel partnerships area for iTEMize Technologies where he has responsibility for developing new distribution channels and managing existing partner relationships. Prior to joining iTEMize, Mike worked in the financial services sector with direct management responsibility. He has supervised the day to day operations and financial growth of key ratios within a 3 million dollar portfolio.
Mr. Shonholz also previously worked at InterCall in both direct sales and then in channel sales where he worked directly with strategic partners across the United States. He was consistently one of the top account executives as well as contributing to the top sales team across the entire wholesale division. He also assisted in, and directly supervised the growth of the conferencing business from $480,000 per year to approximately $2.4 million.
Mike joined iTEMize Technologies in August 2006. During his tenure, he has assisted in the growth and development of the software, managed services, pricing, marketing, and sales of the iTEMize software.
