1)What is your person’s name? First name, last name, nicknames, pseudonyms? What is his/her date of birth and date of death? (This MUST be included on your title slide.)

2)What schools did your person attend in their life? Where are the schools located? Any interesting information on their school behavior or grades?

3)What was your person like when they were young? What do you know about their family members and important early experiences which contributed to their personality or future?

4)When they were an adult, what jobs did they hold? Why did this person enter the field they did? Did they receive and awards or recognition in their lifetime?

5)If your person has died: When and where did they die? How did they die? How did their death affect society or other individuals?

If your person is still alive: What new projects are they working on? What are they doing today? What opinions do others have about this person? What do you know about their hopes for the future?

6)Name the importance or contribution of this person during his/her lifetime.

7)What important early experiences contributed to his/her personality or future (as in heroic contributor to society)?

8)What people or events, which came before my person, did my person get ideas or information from which aided my person in their own studies or productions?

9)Identify the steps in his/her journey: Identify locations, time frame/years. Identify obstacles in his/her way and ways in which he/she overcame them. Identify the people which helped your hero achieve his/her goals.

10)How would the history of the world have been affected or “changed” if this hero had never lived?

11)Many people would argue that this person is not a hero. Use persuasive elementson this slide to justify calling your person a hero. Use specific persuasive vocabulary from class, along with factual moments/events from his or her life.

12)Locate and choose 3 quotes this person has said in public which exemplify:

  • Why he/she is heroic
  • Why he/she went on this journey
  • How he/she affected other people, etc.

You may also choose quotes that other notable people have said about the hero.

MLA CITATIONS

Use this page to record the MLA citations for any website you use for your project.

  • You will include all of your citations on the final slide of your presentation.

*Each information slide should include the website italicized in the bottom right hand corner, in addition to having the MLA citations on the last slide.
*You may include visuals on these slides, as long as they do not interfere with the researched info.*

This should be at least 5 full, original sentences.
Having more details and original explanation is even better.
