Lesson Plans for Substitute

Absence covering

Hello and welcome to my classroom.

First you will need to know my schedule and take attendance each day.

Period 1 – Prep Planning

Periods 2, 4, 5, 6 – TRIGONOMETRY
Period 3 – Geometry

My attendance and Grade book is the BLUE NOTEBOOK located on my desk. In the tabbed sections, in order, you will find: STUDENT INFO, ASSIGNMENTS, HW: GRADES, GRADES, SEATING CHART, ATTENDANCE, and in the pocket of the notebook, you’ll find “DAILY SUBSTITUE ATTENDANCE FORMS”.

1)  My roll book (blue notebook - tab section “attendance”) please record the roll during the first 15 minutes of each period. Please also use the following marks or codes for the absences and tardies. For previous days absences, record the category from the Daily Absence Report (which you will put into the rear of the black notebook) or the readmit .

2)  Substitute Absence Forms, please record any student absent from the class each period and turn them in to the attendance office each period. They are found in the front of this blue notebook.

Assistants

I have a student Vanessa Silva during 3rd period

Supplies

I keep my dry erase markers in a box on my desk. Feel free to use them, but PLEASE cap them when finished (they dry out quickly) and put them back in the cup (upside down) at the end of the day.

Pencils, erasers, pens, push pins, clips, etc. are in the center drawer of my desk.

On the table behind my desk against the wall, are the text books for the class and my “notebooks” for each class. In the yellow metal bookcases near my desk are a series of resource books from other publishers. Feel free to use them to help, although our Stats textbook is REALLY good! A 3-hole punch, stapler, etc. is found in the right hand drawer of my desk.
