AWARD-WINNING NOVELS!
(A Summer Reading Camp for EMS Students)
We’ll be reading books & watching movies from
the Nutmeg Book Award!
Join in on teacher & student led discussions on
characters, plot, conflict, and important reading strategies!
August 6th,8th, and 9th and 13th,15th, and 16th
9:00 am -12 noon
Students can attend one week or both weeks.
Cost is $10.00 for one week, $15.00 for two weeks
Includes lunch from local restaurants
(thank you to Stone and Paddle, DaVinci’s, Big Y, and more!).
The last day will include a family pot luck lunch with all family members invited!

§ 1 golden ticket (summer reading prize drawing) for each student who attends!

If interested, please return the attached form to your homeroom/classroom teacher with your book choices and payment (checks payable to EMS activity fund)
by Friday, June 1st.
First 30 students for each week will be accepted.
This camp is possible through the generous support of a grant funded by Ellington DAPC (Drug Alcohol Prevention Council), The Choice Program, and The Zone (pending approval).

We will do our best to place students in book clubs for books high on their lists.
