Dianne Bertoldi-Hall CSUF 1964

My name is Dianne Bertoldi-Hall. I was born in Fresno, CA. I am the youngest of three children to Louie and Jewell Langiano. I was the second child to go to college and the first in my family to choose a career in nursing. I graduated from CSUF in 1964 with my BSN degree. I was class speaker and received the annual nursing award.

In 1963, I married Allen Bertoldi and we had three children. Daven (infant death), Nathan (age 38) and Kaysha (age 37). Allen passed away in 1981 at age 39. Nathan is an artist and high school art instructor in Clovis, CA. Kaysha is an infusion therapy RN in Mesa, AZ and also a Certified Massage Therapist.

I remarried in 1985 to Ken Hall. Ken is a licensed clinical social worker and was team leader at Prescott, Arizona Vet Center (counseling service for veterans) for 16 years, now semi retired working part time at Prescott VA Medical Center.

I worked for FresnoVeteransAdministrativeHospital from 1964 to 1970 as a staff nurse on a surgical floor, as well as on a medical floor and then as a relief evening supervisor.

I co-founded and was a self employed instructor of Prepared Childbirth Education in Fresno from 1971 to 1974 (8 weeks course for expectant couples). From 1974 to 1975, I was an instructor for this program at the ClovisAdultSchool in Clovis, CA. Allen, the children and I relocated to New York.

I worked for SloanKetteringMemorialCancerHospital as a staff nurse from 1976 to 1982 in New York City. I “floated” to the unit with greatest need (19 stories – 600 beds). The children and I returned to California following Allen’s death.

I then worked for Nancy Hinds, RN caring for the terminally ill in her Fresno home from 1983 to 1984.

I worked for American Home Care, Inc., Medical Personnel Pool and Physicians Resources Network, Inc. as a home care oncology RN from 1984-1987 in Fresno. During this time I also assisted with Hinds Hospice Home to become incorporated and open to receive patients.

I worked for Hinds Hospice Home Foundation, Inc. as a staff nurse then charge nurse for 1987 to 1991, in Fresno. Ken and I relocated to Arizona in 1991.

From 1991 to 2005, I worked for YavapaiRegionalMedicalCenter (in Prescott, AZ) as a Home Health and Hospice visiting nurse and case manager.

From 2005 to present, I am semi retired and working part time for Yavapai Regional Medical Center Home Health and Hospice as a Performance Improvement Audit Assistant.

I have been in Healing Touch Practitioner since 2001 and a Reiki Practitioner since 2004 and see clients in my home office in Prescott.
