M-Card

Now that you have registered on the database, your child is entitled to an M-Card. An M Card identifies that your child has a disability/special need. Many parents use it to assist them when trying to obtain concessions when attending activities and venues in Merton, or “fast tracking” when there are long queues. This is especially useful if your child has a disability that is not immediately obvious.

We are currently negotiating with local organisations to ensure that they recognise the M-Card. The types of organisations include:

  • Theme/Adventure Parks
/
  • Castles and Palaces

  • Leisure Centres
/
  • Cinema

  • Football Clubs
/
  • Theatre

  • Shopping Centres
/
  • Gardens

  • Farms
/
  • Parks

A full listing of places will be sent to you with your M-Card. To apply for an M card, please chose one of the following options.

  1. Email a passport size photograph in .jpeg format to . Within the email you must state your child’s full name, date of birth and postcode. Please state “I agree to the London borough of Merton using my child’s photograph to produce an M-Card”.
