Select best BOPFs advanced following special inquiry, other good invoices were irregular, below best sorts were firm to easier, plainer varieties shed Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/- on average. Medium BOPs declined Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/-. BOPFs were firm to easier.

A few bright BOP / BOPFs advanced following quality, others were irregularly dearer.

Bright BOPs with seasonal character sold well following special inquiry, others were irregularly lower. Brighter BOPFs on offer maintained last levels whilst the others declined Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-. Uda Pussellawa BOPs declined Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/- on average. BOPFs were irregular.

Low Grown CTC PF1s were firm. A majority of the High & Medium CTC PF1s remained unsold. BP1s from all elevations advanced Rs. 10/- to Rs. 20/- on average.

Fair demand. Select best OP1s were irregularly dearer by Rs. 10/- to Rs. 15/-, best types eased Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-, the balance maintained last levels. All BOP1s were firm to at times dearer by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-. Select best OPs shed Rs. 15/- to Rs. 20/- whilst best types were steady, clean below best and poorer sorts maintained last levels, whilst the balance tended lower. Select best OPAs shed Rs. 10/- on average, best types were mainly firm, below best and poorer sorts were irregularly lower by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-. Select best Pekoes shed Rs. 10/- to Rs. 15/- following availability, whilst bold Pekoe varieties along with flaky types were irregularly dearer by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-. Select best Pekoe1s eased Rs. 10/- to Rs. 15/-, whilst other shotty Pekoe1s were irregularly lower by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-, below best and poorer sorts too were firm to at times lower by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/- following quality. Good demand for Tippy / Small leaf varieties. Select best and best BOP / BOP.SPs were firm, below best types were firm, poorer sorts shed Rs. 10/- per Kg. Select best FBOPs were firm, best types were firm, but were slightly irregularly lower towards the later part of the sale, below best and poorer sorts maintained last levels. Select best FBOPF1s were steady, best types were dearer by Rs. 5/- to Rs.10/-, below best and poorer types were firm. Select best and best Tippy sorts met with good demand, however were lower to last, below best and poorer types too met with fair demand, however prices were easier to last.

Best liquoring Fngs were firm to lower by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/- whilst the below best too were lower by a similar margin, poorer sorts were lower by Rs. 5/- to Rs. 10/-. Select best BMs were firm on last levels, whilst the below best and poorer varieties were lower by Rs. 10/- and more at times. All BPs were firm to lower. Select best and best BOP1As declined Rs.10/- to Rs.20/-, whilst below best and poorer sorts declined Rs.15/- to Rs.20/-.

Select best Dust1s declined Rs.10/- to Rs.15/-, whilst the best Dust1s were firm, below best types along with the poorer sorts declined Rs.10/- to Rs.15/-. Clean secondaries were firm whilst the below best types declined Rs.10/- to Rs.20/-, poorer sorts were firm. Best Low Grown Dust/Dust1s appreciated Rs.10/- to Rs.15/-, whilst the below best types were firm, poorer sorts were irregularly lower.
