Kindergarten Roundup
Our annual Kindergarten Roundup will be held Wednesday, March 2 at 7:00 p.m. If you know of a youngster who will be five years of age before September 1, please pass the information on.
Lost BAS Jacket
A youth size 5/6 with Chloe Chappell’s name on the label is missing. Please check your child’s jacket to see if it was accidently picked up. The same size jacket, without a name, is being held in the office to be exchanged when Chloe’s jacket is returned.
Snow Plan Reminder
Just a reminder: In case of inclement weather we will follow the plans announced for Prince George’s County. Please do not call the school, teachers, or staff. Pleaselisten to your local television or radio stations for their announcement. Kindergarten students will follow the plan for the whole school as we have a full-day kindergarten. In the event that the public schools are closed and there is a question about whether BAS will be open, listen to WTOP (103.9 FM/103.5 FM/820 AM) or WMAL (630 AM). Remember, when school closes early there is no after school care.
Grandparent’s Day
BAS is excited to announce Grandparent’s Day 2011 is coming early this Spring. Please mark your calendars (grandpa and grandma’s too) for
Friday, April 8, from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm. Please note that the date of this year's event is a few weeks earlier than in previous years. Watch for
future announcements requesting address information in early February.

Our school is asking for your participation in our fund raising recycling program. If you use an inkjet printer at home or at work, please place your empty cartridge in zip lock bag and turn it in at the office. BAS receives cash for each cartridge you send us.
