Mobile FaSD (Facial Symptoms Diagnosis), a mobile application that will detect and differentiate between various Health diseases by using facial features. Mobile FaSD is a Mobile Health consultant. THE VISION of Mobile Facial Symptom Diagnosis is to create an easy, simply and fashionable tool for disease diagnosis, this is to ensure easy access to improved health care and other related aid services. Mobile FaSD will be developed on a cross platform system and will be made available for all smartphone users.

THE MARKET AND COMPETITION

The primary market size for this product is about 20,000,000 people and we hope to have a market penetration of about 40% in the first years. The secondary market size for this product is about 1,000,000,000 people and we hope to have a market penetration of about 5% in the first year. Our go to market strategy is to do a lot of online advertisement and also take the product to the customers by using both traditional method and online method to market the product. We currently don’t see any competition in our primary market which are refugees but our main competitor would be local hospitals for the secondary market. The advantage we have over them is that we are providing an easy, quick, cheap and fun substitute for the traditional diagnosis system.

FINANCIAL SUMMARY

The nature of this enterprise gives us the flexibility to use just a little amount of money to start up. The expenses will be through the purchase of certain APIs and a server for the app development. App will be free for download from registered refugee camps while the secondary market will have to purchase the app from the respective stores. About $5,000 will be spent on the development, validation, and deployment and launching of the app. We hope to partner with the government, agencies and establishments like the United Nations, World Health Organization (WHO) who will help in paying for making the app free for Refugees. The app will be purchased in the secondary market for a token of $10.
