- Have an introductory discussion on the following topics:
- Why is it important to know what classes you need to take to graduate from high school?
- Why is it important to know what classes you need to enter college?
- Review A-G Requirements. Some questions to ask students……. (teacher of course you can create more questions)
- How many years of world language do you need to graduate high school?
- How many years of world language do you need if you want to go to a UC?
- Is service learning required to graduate from high school?
- How many years of math do you need to graduate from high school?
- How many years of math do you need if you want to go to a private college?

Give each student a copy and have them glue their grades
Counselor should give you grades for each student in
your advisory.
Prompt:Your Grade Point Average (GPA) is a direct reflection of how you have done in your A-G classes. Your graduation portfolio will contain a summary of your GPA maintained throughout your high school career. Using information from your transcripts, report card, or A-G summary, calculate your GPA from last mester, as well as your cumulative GPA. Write a brief reflection on your satisfaction with your GPA.
