Space is limited. Therefore, pre-registration is required. Please dress in layers as temperature can vary in the meeting rooms.
Registration Fee Includes: Admission, handouts, CEU certificate, two breakfasts (one each day) and lunch on Thursday. Receipts for registration will be available at the conference registration desk upon request. No confirmation will be sent. Your check will be your confirmation.
Cancellation and Refund Policy: A refund minus a $20.00 administration fee will be made if written cancellation is postmarked by March 13. 2008. No refunds will be made after this date.

Room Rate: Single/Double: $175.00 plus 10% tax & $1.00 Tourism fee. You must reference “PCR Conference” when booking reservation. Reservations must be booked by March 5th for available rate. Rooms booked after this date will be available at the hotel’s current rate. There is no hotel shuttle from the MontereyAirport. Taxis are available for about $20.00 at the airport.

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION
This one and a half day conference will provide all health care professionals with an evidence based approach to managing patients with wound and ostomy problems.
CONTINUING EDUCATION:
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing #03602.
The one and a half day program provides 9.5 contact hours.
COURSE OBJECTIVES:
Appreciate new approaches to pressure ulcer prevention and treatments.
Understand lymphedema and identify effective management techniques.
Explore the current status of the hospital inpatient prospective payment changes and implications for the WOC nurse.
Understandthe intent of the “5 million Life’s Campaign”.
Explore the differences between “medical grade” and “ordinary” maggots and their impact on wound treatment.
Identify management challenges associated in bariatric ostomy patients.
