Elementary Mobility Plan: / Any student transferring between DISD schools will have a specific folder containing his/her:
  • Reading Wonders Practice Book,
  • Stepping Stones Journal,
  • Stepping Stones Ongoing Practice Journal, and
  • Student Data & Goal Setting Form (which contains MAP scores, DIBELS, DRA, SNAP, writing pieces, etc.)
Counselors are in charge of making sure all components are in place before sending/taking to new location.
Students moving into the DISD will be given the following assessments at earliest convenience if they do not already have the data in their cumulative folder:
  • K-2: DIBELS (coach), MAP if possible (TRT), DRA (classroom teacher or coach), SNAP (MIT or classroom teacher)
  • 3-5: DIBELS (coach), MAP if possible (TRT), DRA if needed for 3rd graders (classroom teacher or coach)
