1. Mon. Praise for the churches and individuals that financially support the work of CEF® in Franklin-Fulton Counties. Pray God will continue to provide for our needs according to His will.

2. Tues. Please pray fervently for God’s protection each time you hear of threatening weather during camp weeks (through August 9).

3. Wed. Pray God will use James & Nicky Poarch to challenge the children at Good News Camp to “pray, give, & go” as they share about their work in West Borneo, Indonesia, with New Tribes Mission.

4. Thurs. Praise God for the freedom we have to share the Gospel with boys and girls in the United States of America.

5. Fri. Pray summer missionaries (Becky Benedict, Skylar GreenSarah Miller) will have safety and be fully equipped with the armor of God (Ephesians 6:11) as they teach 5-Day Clubs® through August 16.

6. Sat. Pray strength and wisdom for Dr. Dan & Michelle Russell as they direct Good News Camp at Mark Victor Teeter Memorial Park in Waynesboro.

7. Sun. Pray God will prepare the hearts of children attending Good News Camp and 5-Day Clubs this summer to hear and respond to the message of the Gospel.

8. Mon. Praise for Junior Staff (Rachel Amend, Will Elgin,Nathan Egolf, Bridgett Finniff, Kalee Oravec, Cora Russell & Hanna Treitz) serving atGood News Camp this summer. Pray they will be “be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might.” (Ephesians 6:19)

9. Tues. Pray many children from the community will attend Good News Camp at Orrstown United Brethren Church this week, wisdom for workers from the area directing the camp and that God will use Lynelle Thrush to challenge the children to missions.

10. Wed. Pray safety and strength as the summer missionaries teach at 5-Day Clubs® this week.

11. Thurs. Pray God will use Janet Snyder & Bev Huff, educational directors for CEF of North American/Caribbean Region, to call children attending Good News Camp to missionary service.

12. Fri. Ask God to guide camp nurses as they make decisions regarding medical treatments.

13. Sat. Pray camp staff and summer missionaries will get needed rest during the weekends.

14. Sun. Pray parents will be actively involved in the spiritual growth of their children.

15. Mon. Pray wisdom and guidance for Rebekah Mancilla and workers during Good News Camp at Dublin Mills Community Church this week.

16. Tues. Pray missionaries at both camps, Dave Goodman(Waynesboro- Samaritan’s Purse) and JR Dudeck(Dublin Mills-Peru), will be used of God to call children to full-time Christian service.

17. Wed. Pray Junior Counselors will be good examples, helpful to the camp teachers, and show godly love to each camper.

18. Thurs. Pray childrenattending 5-Day Clubs will come to “love the Lord thy God with all thy heart” (Matthew22:37) through summer missionaries teaching this summer.

19. Fri. Give thanks for teen and adult helpers at Good News Camp. Pray for patience and endurance as they perform daily tasks.

20. Sat. “A child of five, if properly instructed can as truly believe and be regenerated as an adult.” God used this statement of Charles Spurgeon in the life of J. Irvin Overholtzer when he was 60 years old to begin the ministry of CEF. “Mr. O” was born on this day in 1877. Praise God!

21. Sun. Pray children will call Tel-A-Story® numbers and make life-changing decisions.

22. Mon. Pray for Holy Spirit discernment as camp teachers counsel each of their campers through the week during quiet time in the afternoon.

23. Tues. Pray summer missionaries will be sensitive to the leading of the Holy Spirit as they teach 5-Day Clubs this week and present the Gospel at the Shippensburg Fair.

24. Wed. Pray children will enroll in the Mailbox Club through receiving starter lessons at Good News Camp and 5-Day Clubs.

25. Thurs. Pray children will be a witness to family and friends as they learn from Good News Camp missionaries each week.

26. Fri. Pray children at Good News Camp and in 5-Day Clubs this week who have not trusted Jesus as Savior will be saved today.

27. Sat. Pray children will be challenged to begin having personal daily devotions through the booklet and instruction received during Quiet Time at camp.

28. Sun. Pray campers will live the truth of camp theme, “. . . Be ye doers of the Word . . .”

29. Mon. Pray campers will want to see God’s glory declared among the nations as the Waynesboro Otterbein Missions Team shares about recent work in Haiti.

30. Tues. Pray for “fruit that remains” (John 15:16) as the summer missionaries share with children through August 16.

31. Wed. Praise God for the marvelous provision of hundreds of summer volunteers.
