DIRECTIONS

Please note the following direction to avoid getting hopelessly confused! There are two distinct settlements - Micheldever Station and Micheldever (Village), whichare 2 miles apart.Rivermead Camping is in the small hamlet of Weston Colley which is 3/4 of a mile north east of Micheldever (Village)

Owning tosome tight narrow lanes with few passing places it is essential you approach Weston Colley from the North (i.e. from the Micheldever Station direction.)

From A34 (If arriving from the North)

Take the A303 signposted Basingstoke then follow directions from Micheldever Station/Overton Junction below​

From A303 (Micheldever Station/Overton Junction - If arriving from the East or West)

Take Overton Road southsignpostedMicheldever Station.

At thecrossroads go straight overinto Church Street signpostedMicheldever (do not turn right towards Micheldever Station)then after 2.2miles take thefirst right signposted Weston Colley.

Continue under railway bridge through S bend byWeston Farm.

Rivermead Campsite entrance can be found at the last cottage on the left.

From Winall Roundabout exit of M3 (If arriving from the South)

Take exit signposted A34/A33.

After 0.8 miles fork right signposted A33 Basingstoke.

After the end of second stretch of dual carriageway ignore the next two turnings to the leftsignpostedMicheldever Village.

After7.4 miles (from the Winall roundabout) turn left into Larkwhistle Farm Road.

At crossroads turn left into Church Street signpostedMicheldever then after 2.2 milestakefirst right signposted Weston Colley.

Continue under railway bridge through S bend byWeston Farm.

Rivermead Campsite entrance can be found at the last cottage on the left.

ARRIVALS

When you arrive please phone us, or loudly ring the front door hand bell (house no. 1) and we will direct you to your pitch. Please remember to keep noise to a minimum.

FERRY CROSSINGS

If travelling to, or fromcontinental Europewe are conveniently situated for PortsmouthInternational Ferry Port being a short 45 minute journey using the M3 & M25 motorways =although more time should be allowed for the usually congested rush hour periods.

The Red Funnel Ferry company ( operates the Isle of Wight passenger and car ferries, which run from Portsmouth, Town Quay Southampton (40 minutes) and Lymington (about 60 minutes drive.)
