The programs, services, and ministries supported by the Archdiocesan Development Fund Appeal support Catholics in Central and Western Oklahoma. The Archdiocese financial support is from each of us. The theme is “Open Your Heart to God’s Love” (Accept His love, begin a new way of living in Him, share His love with others.) The Church serves each of us, continuing God’s work throughout the Archdiocese.

Help in financing your college education! If you need help paying for undergraduate or graduate school, The Catholic Foundation may be able to assist with a $1,000 or $3,000 scholarship that may be renewed for up to four years. These scholarships are awarded to qualified Catholic students. They also have other scholarships for OU Medical students, nursing students, Pastoral Musician students, or a St. Gregory student. Applications are available in the church office.

Third Sunday in Ordinary Time: The watchword today is “immediately.” Peter and Andrew, James and John all respond immediately to the call of Christ. May I be as open to God’s call and as ready to use my talents in His service as those first disciples were!

We welcome aboard our new youth directors; Tom & Jeanetta Betzen. Many thanks, to Helen Archibeque, who for the last 2 years has ministered to our youth.
