Announcements
The Chapter won an Award from the State Council. The Chapter Conservation Award was presented to us for our Trout in the Classroom Program, Youth Activities, Veterans Outreach, Restoration of Coldwater Resources.
Secretary Minutes
The meeting minutes for October’s Board MeetingGreg Cuda makes a motion to accept as reported. 2nd by Richard Atkinson. Approved.
Treasurer’s Report
$35,600 in the bank – Conservation $17,889 Money Market $3,141 Checking $25,357.
We are still need of a Treasurer. Don Keiffer will be need to be asked if he is willing to take over.
The outstanding balance of $10,000 for the Cambridge Lantern Project has been paid.
We looked at the balance history we increased the balance by almost 20K over a 10 year period.
Inventory and Volunteer Hour Reports are needed by the end of the year.
Bill Cosgrove has re-iterated that we need a monthly reviewer for Monthly and Yearly Financial Reports.
Banquet Report
We are looking for donations and volunteers for the Reservations and Money taking.
The Banquet is on March 10th 2018.
The first Banquet meeting will be the 13th of Nov. at 7 PM.
There have been observations made that we need some newer items in the Baskets.
Heath has some donations being delivered to work. Richard also has donations at his house.
Conservation Report
Conservation Committee Meeting- Greg Cuda has made a motion to give $5000 to the Battenkill Watershed Alliance. Scott Parker has the 2nd. Approved. The Check was written tonight by Ken Waldie and handed to Greg Cuda.

Dwaas Kill – No Report.

Catskill Watershed Alliance –No Report

Temp Loggers 13 of the 16 have been removed. Doug will get the last 3. 2 at the Battenkill and 1 at the Dwaas Kill.
He has the data pulled and entered into spreadsheet with some formulas setup to make it easier.
Events
November General Meeting
December Fly Tying Meeting.
Education Report
Fly Tying Class – 8 people. Went well. We got one new member out of the class.
Doug Howard – Did the class at Duanesberg High School. 5 days and it went well again. The School is looking to incorporate it into the curriculum. 3 kids participated.
Trout in the Classroom: We have 17 programs for this year. Eggs will be available a little late this year. The Chiller for Ravena needs to be replaced. The purchase was approved and we are looking at the best price.
Membership Report
Holding steady 5 new and 45 renewed. A letterwill go out to the new members.7 new members from the Fly Fishing Class. 524 this month.

Looking to get us listed in a paper to get more exposure.
Gloversville Satellite Chapter
The meeting is being moved to the 9th of this month.
Schoharie Satellite – SUNY Cobleskill TU Five Rivers
Still going. Mike hasn’t made it to the last two meetings.

Fish and Wildlife
Bill Cosgrove made it to the DEC meeting. There was some good points brought up about conservation.
Chris Cook was discussing sending DEC the Talking Points we have written out over to the DEC for them to take into consideration. Chris will send the talking points to the Board.
Publicity Report

Quartermaster Report
Trevor brought in the Surveying Equipment.
We still have a canoe to sell it.
Video Library
Nothing new.
Old Business
Meeting Room.
The Zaloga Post is the new meeting place.
We should hand out the address and directions to the new Meeting Place.
We have to decide what to do with the extra canoe.
New Business
January’s Board Meeting will be held on Jan 8th.
Bob Mead had a $100 donation from selling some Hooks.
Trevor will be resigning from the Board Position so he can take care of life.
Heath Clayson has appointed Chris Cook to the Board. He will be up for election in 2018.
