PROFESSIONAL ACTORS: "The Aerospace Players" is a non-profit community theater organization. Professional actors are welcome to participate, but do so on their own cognizance. Due to liability requirements, TAP will neither sign contracts nor pay wages for professional actors.

AGE REQUIREMENTS: Cabaret contains a number of adult themes. For this reason only actors who are 18 years or older at the time of auditions will be cast.

CLUB DUES INFORMATION: The Aerospace Players have annual dues of $15 for employees of The Aerospace Corporation and $16 for all others.

PERFORMANCE FEES: All cast members are required to pay a $25 performance fee to help cover the cost of the show.

PERFORMANCE DATES: January 30, 31, Feb 1 (matinee), 5, 6, 7

Note that the Feb 1 matinee is Superbowl Day. The matinee goes from 1-4pm. The Superbowl starts at 3:15pm, so you’ll still get to see the last half at the cast party!

LIABILITY WAIVER. On-stage performance and rehearsal can be very exerting and hazardous. The Aerospace Players provide an opportunity to participate in this activity at your own risk as indicated in the following waiver.

I, ______, in consideration of being permitted to participate in the production of "Cabaret" sponsored by The Aerospace Players of the Aerospace Employees Association, agree to the following:

1. I AGREE TO ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY for any risk of personal injury, accident, illness, or death arising out of or in connection with my participation in "Cabaret".

2. I AGREE TO RELEASE The Aerospace Players and the Aerospace Employees' Association from and against any and all liability for personal injury, accident, illness, or death arising out of or in connection with my participation in "Cabaret".

3. I FURTHER AGREE THAT THIS RELEASE is intended to be as broad and inclusive as is permitted by the laws of the State of California.

I HAVE CAREFULLY READ THIS RELEASE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. IT IS MY DECISION TO VOLUNTARILY PARTICIPATE IN "CABARET" AND I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS COULD INVOLVE INHERENT RISK OF INJURY. I SIGN THIS RELEASE OF MY OWN FREE WILL WITH FULL KNOWLEDGE OF ITS SIGNIFICANCE.

SCHEDULE CONFLICTS: Please mark out with an “X” any likely conflicts with the unshaded show dates and potential rehearsal dates. Note: Not all cast members will need to attend all rehearsals and only select Saturdays will be used for rehearsals (as needed). Rehearsal schedules will be published later indicating which scenes or songs will be rehearsed which nights. Weeknight rehearsals are 7-10 p.m. For performances that start at 8pm, the call time is 6pm. For the Thursday performance that starts at 7pm, the call time is 5pm. The Sunday matinee call time is 11am for a 1pm performance.
