Brief Description of Activities
Youth Week Skate Night: Free Youth Skate Night, to celebrate National Youth Week at RYC from 6 – 9 pm, includes dinner, prizes and games.
Amazing Race:In teams of 4 youth will race around Canterbury Bankstown to complete challenges at different youth services. Youth will we supervised at each service, but will be completing the race in their team and not accompanied by a youth work at all times.Youth aged 15-25.Lunch provided!
Survival of the Fittest:Youth will compete in team games including volleyball and crossfit at Belmore Sports Ground, as part of National Youth Week. Lunch will be provided.
Youth Fest: A free Youth Week Festival will be held at Paul Keating Park Bankstown. There will be free food, rides, games, stalls, performances and a glow in the dark disco to finish the night off. The festival runs from 3-8pm. Youth will need to make their own way to the park. RYC staff will be in attendance, as well as workers from a number of different youth services.
Drop In: Youth will visit RYC and have the opportunity to skate, play basketball, table tennis, board games and/or video games. Youth will be provided with lunch and snacks.
Youth Skate Night: Free Youth Skate Night at RYC from 6 – 9 pm, includes dinner.
Puzzle Escape Room: Youth will head by train into the city to complete a puzzle escape room, working as a team to discover clues and find their way out! They will get the opportunity to buy lunch in the city before returning home.

** Please note all activities have limited spaces so it is essential that applications be filled out and submitted before the due date: 10/04/18.
CONDITIONS FOR ATTENDANCE AT SCHOOL HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES
- Activities are for YOUNG PERSON/S aged between 12 - 18 YEARS OLD ONLY (depending on activity please see brochure).
- Because spaces are limited, Parents/Guardians are to book for their own young person for each activity.
- Parents/Guardians of young person will be notified if they are on for an activity on the 11thAprilVIA EMAIL/TEXT.
- Places on all activities will be confirmed when the permission slip is received to the Roundabout Youth Centre, they must be returned by the 10th April. ALL permission slips MUST be signed by a Parent/Guardian.
- When young people CANNOT ATTEND due to unforeseen circumstances, Roundabout Youth Centre must be informed ASAP (where possible within 48hrs) so that the waiting list can be referred to.
- Deposits for any paid activities must be paid before 14/04/18. If for any reason youth cannot attendthe deposit may be forfeited unless we can fill the spotANDappropriate notice is given (48hrs minimum).
- Please ensure your young person is wearing appropriate clothing for the activity. We aim to ensure all of our young people and staff are comfortable, but represent Roundabout Youth Centre in an appropriate manner.
- Please ensure all young people are delivered and collected by a Parent or Guardian or other nominated adult. Please advise Shelby Heness of any changes to this in writing or via email/text message. Should you plan to make other travel arrangements, this remains at the discretion of the Youth Project Officer (Shelby) for approval. Without permission, all participants will be delivered to the designated area or Roundabout Youth Centre.
- The school holiday activities are funded with the aim of your young person building on their skill set in various areas such as social skills and interacting with other young people whilst building their independence. For these reason friends, family members or any other individual are not allowed to attend activities.
- ALL information regarding each activity should be read carefully as this ensures your youth having a positive experience on activities which are attended.
- Young people should be reminded to be respectful to all staff and other participants during all school holiday activities.
