Transaction Operational Buyer - March 2010 to 31-March 2012
Responsible for all Shell Oman contracts, covering D-Game & L-Game services, manpower supplies, fuel distribution, Commercial and Aviation areas of contacts and procurement lines. The role obtains below responsibilities:
Complete the takeover of buying activities and sourcing from line to CP up to 100 K OMR except for the line threshold as per MOA and centralize PO creation and PO release for non-hydrocarbon spends to CP Operations.
Execute 90% of buying activities within agreed timelines with respective users (agreed KPIs and SLAs) for purchases up to 100 K OMR with emphasis on turnaround times and customer satisfaction – stretch target 95% ( 30 days from start of process till contract signing).
Ensure that 90% of the contracts under buyer’s influence are re-tendered or renewed at three (3) months before lapse. No contract should expire without any action taken.
Maximize creation of Outline Agreements for all contracts in SAP (80% spend linked to contract call-off). If service master module is not operational yet, 80% of spend linked to contract call-off shall be coming from contracts on goods/materials. Ensure that all OAs covered by valid contracts are accurately updated and operational.
Lead Buyer-1st April-2012 up to date
Responsible for contracting and purchase procurement line of Operation, Supply and Distribution Department, Shell Aviation, Commercial, and Retail scopes. The role obtains below responsibilities:
The role takes below responsibilities:
Developed effective strategies for tenders/contracts for new contracts and established tender plans and looking up on potential vendors who can obtain the project.
Building up Tender process, managing the Tender bids after receivable, & maintaining commercial and technical evaluation.
Setting up Contract Strategy & Contracts Awards. Thus, conveyance it to the Tender board for approval.
Creating the Contracts based on Shell Terms & Conditions. Thus, along with aligned policies & procedures.
Carried out commercial evaluation & assisting lines in negotiations of bids for new projects, or ongoing contracts during the Renewal process.
Supported and guided Contract & Procurement for setting better tendering and contracting strategies.
Carried out analysis of technical evaluation models. Thus, carried out introducing P-Card/ Procurement Card to vendors.
Carried out setting up around 80 Contracts within Feb 2011 to June 2011 for the Lubricant Supply Chain & Distribution Departments, thus, maintain Outline Agreements in SAP prior Shell Go Live in GSAP.
Contracts Accomplishments:
Integrated Facility Management contract for Shell Oman Marketing. This contract has clubbed over 19 agreement and centralized it into one HR Services Agreement, this agreement a new tender experience of Shell Oman, which PDO has also interfaced ad both companies went live in awarding the agreement with a company called Carillion Alawai. This agreement has not only brought technical enhancement to HR services scopes, however, has also brought in country value in term of scope. As result was Awarded MD Award for Excellent Employee – after leading the contracting of IFMS Contract.
Road Fuel Transpiration Contract, member of contract negotiation panel, which focused on contract optimization cost module. This was an effective negotiation which has enabled shell to save around 15 % of their monthly costs in this scope.
In process of Calling of Shell Travel Agreement to Shell Oman Marketing.
Green Banding Process of all Shell Oman Marketing Contractors, who are mid and high risk in terms of financial and operational size. This is an HSSE compliance evaluation.

Virtually close the contracts and service order in oracle upon receiving instruction from Proponent / Contract Engineer.

Issue signed Contracts/ service Orders to Finance department.
File all hard copies of commitments and its associated documents in accordance to Oxy Procedure.
Scan, Archive and save the Guarantee Documents.
Working on update of EBCQ and renewing them when close to expiry.
Generate over Due PO invoices reports.
Notify concern parties (warehouse, proponents, Finance, cost controller, etc)
Follow up with warehouse and concern parties.
Maintain all correspondence text between all other concern parties.
Prepare reports with status at any given time.
