Suggest you use the Underwriter login or the Distributor to log in.
MASTER COVER
For Prod, the Master Cover will be set to live. For the UAT environment, the Master Cover will be set to test. Please ensure that you are using the PROD environment for the demos.
Avoid using the Master cover for anything other than to demo. There have been configuration changes that have been updated to make the workflow process run more efficiently and with little error. We have simplified many processes and removed items that were redundant. Therefore, do not make changes or updates as this may affect a process from running smoothly. We encourage any feedback regarding the changes and any suggestions. If you have any other questions, comments or even suggestions, please contact the Sales Engineering Team.
SECURITY ROLES
There are only three different security roles in this workflow that are used. Most of the time, the only two that would be needed for demo, would be Distributor and Underwriter. There is also the assured and can also be used in the demo but will only have read only access to the policies and workflow. If you attempted to create a submission with the assured, the submission will be in Read Only mode. Please refrain from using the Assured for this workflow.
Distributor – The Distributor companies and users have already been created for each of the sales members. The company is labeled by the first three letters of your first name and your last name followed by “Inc.” The security rights are limited to Distributor and Distributor Supervisor combined.
Using the Distributor limits you to issue a quote up to a limit of 5 million in Authority. If you enter more, the Underwriter will have to enter a new approved limit that is above 5 Million.
Once the referral is prompted, you are required to issue quote to the underwriter for approval. The email addresses have also been created for the Distributor users so that you will also receive the email. After the Underwriter approves the quote, you can bind the request and print the Binder document.
Underwriter – This user has the same security rights as an Underwriter and an Underwriter supervisor combined.
This user has the highest level of security and can issue limits up to 20 Million. This user can also approve limits for any distributor using the approved limit field.
Once the user has been requested to approve the quote, the underwriter can go to the quote options and approve any option desirable for the distributor. Once the changes have been made after a referral is required for the underwriter to approve, the underwriter can click on the issue Qiuote option once completed. The distributor user will receive an email approving the qoote.
