WITS – will meet for an Advent Study this Thursday, December 14th. We will offer an Advent Study based on The Gospel of It’s a Wonderful Life Bible Study. Come join us in Barnabas from 9:30 – 11:00 am. Even if you have never joined us for WITS, you’re always invited. Somehow we always have coffee and something to nibble on! If you have any questions about WITS, please contact Monna Mayhall at or 615-790-0527.

If you haven’t put on your name tag today – please consider it!

A habit of name tag wearing is good for our fellow parishioners and for future staff looking to learn everyone’s name.

There is a sheet in the back for those missing or lost name tags

SPRING STREET SENIORS FOOD COLLECTION
Each month, volunteers from St. Paul's Spring Street Seniors outreach program bring a group of approximately 50 low-income senior citizens to the church for music, activities and a hot meal. Most of these guests live in the public housing community and traditionally African-American neighborhoods surrounding downtown Franklin. For the past several years, parishioners have been incredibly generous and provided each senior with two bags of food to make a holiday meal and provide some pantry staples. These gifts help make the holidays special for them, and take away some of their worries for a little while. If you would like to contribute to this program, please consider donating money (which we will use to purchase the items) OR you may purchase the items to fill a bag of two of food. We are hoping to be able to assemble fifty complete sets of bags. We will distribute them to the Spring Street Seniors senior citizens on Thursday, December 21st, and any extras will be used to stock the St. Paul’s Food Pantry. The bags are color-coded and labelled with the shopping lists and they are in the narthex. We will need the bags to be returned to St. Paul'sNO LATER THAN MONDAY DECEMBER 18th.

Join us for our “Blue Christmas” service which will be a quiet service with reflective music, designed to acknowledge pain, depression, loss, grief, illness, or other struggles you may be experiencing this holiday season. Please feel free to invite family or friends who might benefit from this service. There will be a reception in Founders’ Hall following the service for anyone wishing to stay.
