All SCHOOL
· Staff: On Monday we will begin enforcing the student ID policy. An announcement will be made directing students of a particular grade level, to report to a specified location (i.e. the cafeteria or PAC). Please send students who are not wearing their IDs to the location specified in the announcement. If a student has their ID, but is not wearing it, please direct them to put it on immediately. Assistant principals will be waiting at the specified location to issue temporary IDs and make documentation for disciplinary purposes. Students will be written a return pass to class and should reenter your room wearing their ID or a temporary issued by an administrator. If they return without an ID, please send them to their unit office immediately for discipline.
Thank you in advance for your diligence and cooperation in this matter.
· Attention Ms. Fine's 9th grade classes! Remember to report directly to the library for class today.
· Debate and Speech Team: An informational Meeting about the Debate and Speech Team will take place on Tuesday, September 11, 2012 in Room A105 at 3:00 p.m. For more information, please see Mrs. Sorrells in Room A105.( Effective thru 9/11)
· Attention all inducted MAC Scholars: There will be a brief organizational meeting Tuesday, September 11th after school in A103 (Ms. Watkins' room).
All Scholars are encouraged to attend or see Ms. Watkins for more information. Please bring your planners with you, so that we can get organized for the year
· Deadline: Blue Cards, Parent Link Cards and any other forms that were mailed to your home at the beginning of the year should be turned in to your Homeroom Teacher today, September 7, 2012. If you no longer have the forms please stop by the Attendance Office.
· Library: Any student interested in joining the Library Club (also known as SLACkers) is invited to our first meeting of the school year, this Friday after school in the library. All are welcome!
o The library would like to remind students that our bookstore is now open for purchasing supplies: We carry items such as pencils, pens, notebooks, index cards, folders, dividers, binders, and flash drives. These items can be purchased at the circulation desk. (Effective thru 9/7)
· Guidance: Guidance Report - students PLease Please Please check your school email. Guidance counselors are constantly sending you information that you need to be aware of. Your username and password are the same as logging into a computer. If you don't know how to log into your school account, please ask a teacher.
· Key Club: Attention Brush! Join us for our second Key Club Meeting today, on Wednesday, September 12, 2012. Please bring $15.00 for Club Dues. (Effective thru 9/12)
· 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament: The senior class will be sponsoring a 3 on 3 basketball tournament to be held on October 5th 2012. The entry fee for the tournament has been reduced to $5 per person and the grand prize is still $50 per person. Today is the last day for teams of three to sign up in the cafeteria. The entry fee must be paid when you sign up. Teams can include no more than 1 varsity basketball player and no more than one faculty member. All you ballers get your winning team of 3 organized and come sign up in the cafeteria today!!

· Student Congress: These are the final days for submitting the Top 25 Nomination Forms. Forms are due on Friday, September 7, 2012 to attendance. We need more SENIOR MEN to step up to the plate and turn in a form. Please support homecoming and Top 25!
· SIGN UP FOR A MALE AND FEMALE SOLOIST FOR THE HOMECOMING ASSEMBLY SONG, TWO IS BETTER THAN ONE, WILL BE FROM SEPTEMBER 10 THROUGH SEPTEMBER 14 IN MR. LAPLANCHE'S ROOM, D-210. ALSO, WE WILL BE CHOOSING A SOLOIST FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM WHO COMES IN SECOND PLACE. (Effective thru 9/14)
SPORTS
· Hockey: If you are have ever had any interest in playing hockey, please see the team representatives table during your lunch period.
· Girls Basketball Open Gym / Organizational Meeting will be held Monday September 10, 2012 from 6:00 – 8:00 in the East Gym. This is for Brush High School Students only.(Effective thru 9/10)
