Ric Bellmar believes financial advising has nothing to do with “timing the market”. But, more importantly, getting to know his clients in a discovery process, provides a focus on what is most important, both financially and personally to clients. This begins a procedure of planning that involves customizing appropriate options for long-term strategies. He works closely with his clients, meeting with them regularly to monitor progress toward their goals and to build strong personal relationships based on trust, integrity, and mutual respect.
A Denver native, Ric graduated from South High School and the University of Colorado, as well as earning a Master’s degree from Long Beach State University. He has been in the financial arena for the past 25 years. With a passion for educating, he has been an instructor with Community College of Aurora, teaching courses in financial planning and retirement. He has been a featured speaker to employees with many companies along the Front Range, including United Airlines, Corporate Express, 9NEWS, and Bonfils Blood Bank.
Ric and his wife, Lisë, work closely to provide excellent client support, too. They also enjoy being involved in various philanthropic organizations, and Ric has served on many Boards in the Denver area. Ric and Lisë are also actively involved in The Catholic Church, The Central City Opera, The Denver Debutante Ball, The Eisenhower/Evans Scholarship Fund, National Sports Center for the Disabled, Susan G. Komen for the Cure, and Haven School.
Ric and Lisë are active people, enjoying skiing, golf, hiking and biking. They enjoy attending Air Force Academy football games, working in their garden, learning about and discovering new wines and cooking together. Their special joy, however, is spending time with their family: two sons, Jon and Chris, a daughter, Cammie, and five grandchildren, who all live in the Denver area.
