Description:
Profloor Plus is a heavy duty, low viscosity, solvent free epoxy floor coating developed to compliment our already successful Profloor Floor Paint. Being solvent free it is low odour during application which allows usage in areas where taint could be a problem.
Composition:
Profloor Plus is a solvent free low viscosity, two pack epoxy floor seal.
Appearance:
Profloor Plus gives a hard film gloss finish.
Durability:
Profloor Plus has outstanding resistance to abrasion and is easy to maintain.
Thickness:
Nominal 180 - 200 microns d.f.t. per coat.
Coverage:
17-19m2 per 5 kilo
Typical Installations:
Profloor Plus is ideal for sealing the following:- Warehousing, Plant rooms, General engineering, Storage areas, Drink and food preparation areas. Areas of use by trucks. Can be used on walls as well as floors.
Substrates:
Profloor Plus will adhere to concrete, masonry, wood, metal and stable asphalt surfaces.
Surface Preparation:
It is essential that all surfaces are laitence free, clean, dry and free from any contaminants such as oils and fats.
Application:
10 - 30oC - By brush or short nap mohair roller.
Priming:
On sound substrates two coats of Profloor Plus are sufficient but on porous surfaces it may be necessary to prime with one coat of Profloor Clear.
Mixing:
Profloor Plus is packed in pre-measured 5 kilo units and should not be split further. Contents of small container (hardener) should be poured into contents of large container (resin) and mixed with a jiffy type paddle in a slow speed drill for two minutes.
Maintenance:
Profloor Plus can be easily cleaned using conventional and proprietary methods. It should not be steam cleaned or cleaned with water above 60˚C
Cure Schedule:
Pot life @ 20oC mixed unit - 20-30 minutes
Initial cure @ 20oC - 4-8 hours
Foot traffic @ 20oC - 12-24 hours
Heavy traffic @ 20oC - 36-48 hours
Full cure for chemical resistance - 7 days
Shelf life - 12 months

Handling Precautions:
Coo-VarProfloor and Profloor Plus are generally harmless in use provided that certain precautions normally taken when handling chemicals are observed. The uncured materials must not be allowed to come into contact with foodstuffs or food utensils, and measures should also be taken to prevent skin contact, since people with sensitive skin may be affected. The use of protective clothing, barrier cream, gloves and goggles is recommended. The skin should be thoroughly washed at the end of each working period, using either soap and warm water or resin removing creams. Do not wash the skin with cleaning solvents. Adequate ventilation in the working area is recommended. In case of accidental mouth or eye contact - wash thoroughly with clean water and if in any doubt - consult a doctor immediately.
