Project Goals:

  • Align state’s instruction and assessment models for adult ed and postsecondary education/training inputs and outputs among programs and with respect to regional employer needs
  • Prepare policies that will open opportunities for cross-agency data collection and sharing
  • Identify effective professional development model(s) to be delivered to staff from across agency programs
  • Lay the policy foundation for true, interagency implementation of the VA Career Pathways System and conduct a pilot program based on those policies

  • To have the most skilled / credentialed workforce in the U.S.
  • ABE/ASE learners transition to and complete postsecondary education and training programs at a dramatically higher rate

1. Identify and contact key legislative staffers and agency staff
(Inter-agency) with the goal of getting broad support of P2P/Career Pathways, including new administration / VCCS Coordinator (guided by Randy and Gloria)
