STUDENTS
§ The Art Club is hosting a Holiday Ornament make and take day Tuesday, December 12th from 3:00-4:30 in room 613. Tickets are $5.00 per person and can be purchased from Mrs. Gautreau. Please join us for this easy decorating project.
§ In the spirit of giving, the LHS Sr. Beta Club will be hosting a Christmas Dress Down day December 15 for $1.00. All proceeds from this event will be donated to Perry’s Posse. Passes can be purchased in the morning or at lunch from Mrs. Cambre.
§ LHS will be collecting Toys for Tots. Toy donations can be dropped in the collection boxes in the library. Dress down passes will be given to students that donate new unwrapped toys. Toys will be distributed to St. James Parish children ages 0-14.
§ JROTC nacho sale Thursday and Friday at all lunches.
§ LHS will hold an ornament donation during the month of December for a free dress down day pass. Collection is until December 19. Dress Down Day is December 20. Ornaments can be handmade or store bought but no glass ornaments.
§ Students that were scheduled for ASD Thursday will attend today in the library.
SPORTS
Ø If you signed up for bowling tryouts, we will go to the alley tomorrow and Wednesday. There will be a bus in the public relations parking lot @ 3:30 tomorrow and Wednesday. Make sure you are there before then. We will be back at the school by 6:00. You must go to both days of tryouts.
Ø Tennis tryouts will be held December 12-13 after the 2:30 bell at the tennis courts. Must have a physical to tryout.
Ø Anyone interested in running MS track needs to sign up with Mrs. Roussel room 205 or Ms. Bergeron room 106. There will be a MANDATORY meeting Tuesday, December 12 in room 205 immediately after school until 3:00.
Ø Fishing club meeting has been changed to Tuesday, December 12 at 6:00 p.m. in the Pound.
Ø Boys’ JV/V basketball game home vs. Berwick starting at 5:00.
