A medical “home” for underinsured families. Accepts Molina and CareSource. Offers medical examinations, immunizations, family planning, prenatal care, mental health screenings, children’s vision clinic, dental referrals, and STD screening and treatment services. Children or adults who have no family doctor can receive medical services in the emergency room at FMC, but this is not recommended unless it is a true emergency. Strongly encourage families to make an appointment at the Fairfield County Community Health Center (listed above) to find a family doctor who will get to know their history and provide better continuing care.

Services include a 24 hour crisis line, information and referral, in and out patient individual and group counseling for children and adults, legal advocacy, and employment, education, and housing assistance.
