Location - State Office – 5th Floor Conference Room

Members Present: Renee Sansom, Linda Jaco, Melinda Bunch, Tk Dannelley, Nancy Landrum, Katie Woodward, Bill Dunham

Members Absent: Diana Garrett, Melinda Fruendt

Review State Plan Portion for the P&P Committee:

· Objective 1-1

o VR/VS performance measure and accountabilities will be changing. VR and VS divisions will start making changes July 1, 2016

o Currently on hold until we know more

· Objective 1-2

o Awaiting WIOA regulations to be released per objective 1-1

· Objective 1-3

o Has been completed through the state planning process

· Objective 1-4

o Ongoing by the ORC through committee work

· Objective 1-5

o Ongoing by the ORC throughout all committee work and discussion at the quarterly meetings

· Objective 1-6

o Need to schedule committee to meet with Sandi Wright and unit (Policy Development and Program Standards Unit)

· Activity 1

o Committee needs to have a discussion with Sandi Wright and PDPS unit on how to approach consumer satisfaction surveys

· Activity 2

o Will be continued by the Field Coordinators and their continued reports at the ORC quarterly meetings

· Activity 3

o Website is ready and will soon by live for public viewing

· Activity 4

o Continue to encourage updates to be sent to the ORC from other disability groups and resources

· Activity 5

o Completed in the state planning process

· Activity 6

o Relates to activity 3 and 4. Being aware of the planning within the workforce system

Updates:

· Brief discussion on the Oklahoma Works and Workforce Systems (what is it and what do they do)

· Nancy Landrum shared information on the Hearing Loss Association of American Scholarship
