Leadership: Who Will You Be In 2015?
“Be a leader, set an example, be passionate, be courageous, be your best.” Gabby Giffords
Your journey in leadership will be never ending. You build on what has gone before. No matter the circumstances. Gabby Giffords, is the retired US Congresswoman who survived an assassination attempt in 2011 and is just one of the 38 speakers featured in TED talks this year at ted.com. To say Gabby is a leader is an understatement. Her story is an example of what Roger Waters sang about in his song, The Tide is Turning.
TED talks may or may not be of interest to you. But if you are interested in leadership and looking for ideas, to share ideas, to listen to others with ideas or to find other people who believe what you believe, there are few better places to go to. This eight and a half minute TED talk from 2014 has 38 of them. You might find a couple to help answer the question in the byline of this eblast. We in the Leadership Executive wish you well in 2015. We also want to remind you to joyful about your place and standing as a leader in our profession…because you make a difference to others by your example.
“Forge meaning, build identity, and then invite the world to share y our joy.” Andrew Solomon
