33 Central Roost

Minutes of November 5, 2015

Present were Kylee Carver, Natalie McIntosh, Dawn Ray, Noelle Ottenbreit, Deana Keller, Theresa Farrell, Tracy Jones, and TwilaPopowich

Absent were Abbey Verville, Jari Palmer, Sandi LaRose, Jen Andersen, and Carolyn Griffin

Deana called the meeting to order at 7:10 pm

Twila read the minutes of the October 5 meeting, Dawn moved to adopt the minutes as read, seconded by Kylee.

There was no treasurer’s report

Principal’s Report- Family night was a success with a 73% turn out

-The first round of Aims Web testing has been done, so far it is looking good

-Carolyn Daniels will be here tomorrow with a high school presentation at 9 and elementary presentation at 1.

-the water temperature issue in the roost has been fixed

-Deana will write a letter to Jim at division to let him know about our disappointment in how our swing set issue was handled

-Picture retakes are on Nov. 17

-the school curling bonspiel will be moved to Creelman on Jan 28

-the Impact event will be on Jan 20 from 4:30 – 6:30

-SCC meeting in Weyburn on Nov. 9

-Book fair is Nov 16 – 19

-Carolyn, Angela, and Jenna will be working the book fair

-Anti-bullying symposium in Nov 17 and 19- country wide online interactive program

-student led conferences Nov. 18,19

-career fair for 10, 11, 12 coming up

SRC-the Halloween dance went well, it had the best haunted house yet

-will be doing candy grams in December

Food Committee-there is a muffin morning on Nov. 19 Kylee, Theresa, Natalie, Noelle, and Twila will bring muffins

Darryl has said he would be happy to make wraps for a hot lunch if needed.

Playground Committee-will look into getting wood chips for under playground equipment

Roost Committee-nothing

Open discussion- Christmas Concert will be on Dec 10

Next meeting will be January 7

Tracy moved to adjourn the meeting
