MARCH NEWS LETTER
MARCH 1ST has came and gone!
PVR only had a handful of hardy souls that braved the COLD However there were those few.
We are really looking forward to an exciting spring; we are ready to shed the cold weather!
Jerry and Marilyn Hall opened the café this week, personally I can tell you the biscuits and gravy was great.
The café hours this year will be
Wednesday and Thursday- Breakfast from 7 am to 9:30 am
Friday, Saturday and Sunday- Breakfast from 7 am to 10:30 am--Lunch from 11 am to 2:30 pm --Evening hours will be from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Our board meeting is March 16th at 10 am and we will be having a Potluck dinner at 6 pm.
We will be having a sunrise service on Easter Morning in the park followed by a Pancake Breakfast in the Multipurpose Room.
On the 30th there will be an Easter egg hunt for the kids in the tent area and a shuffleboard tournament in the afternoon for the adult (weather permitting)
We have 5 new members (and families), when you see these folks in the park, please stop by and introduce yourself.

Our new Activities director, Ann Rowe, has a lot of great ideas for the upcoming months and welcomes suggestions from everyone.
She will be having Zumba classes in the Church building on Monday, Wednesday and Friday of each week beginning Mid to late April.
Date night will be the first Saturday evening of each month, A different restaurant will be chosen to be visited each time.
Spring work- week is April 17th, 18th, 19th and 20th. Lunch will be served for the volunteers on the 17th, 18th and 19th with a potluck on the 20th at 6 pm. Please feel free to let Ms. Ann know if you will be available to assist with preparing the lunches.
There is still a lot of wood to be cut, the front porch railings are going to be sanded and restrained, we are hoping to continue with the clean up of the excess brush on the bluff side of the park and always lots of general cleanup to make our park look its best.
The work on the pool is continuing; a bit slow right now due to the weather however Mike and Dale think we are still on schedule for opening the week of Memorial Day as always.
We are planning lots of fun activities this year in the park, we are hoping for several cook outs in the pool area, games and family fun in abundance.
Please let us know if you have any ideas, suggestions etc you would like to see happen.
We welcome everyone to stop by the office and say Hello to Cliff, feel free to sit down and chat awhile if you have the time.
Please remember when you receive statements at the first of each month for yearly maintenance fees, they do not have to be paid until June 1st. We wanted to allow everyone time to plan them in you budget.
